Ah, Crimbo. What a crazy time. Main gift this year: iPod touch, hell yeah. And a hat - a very fabulous hat, that I've been wearing all day. I'm easily pleased.

Christmas telly was as loony as ever - Barrowman, yes; and Doctor Who? Oh my. ( cut for spoilers. )

I was runner-up in wicked_awards, for now is the winter in Best Dark. That's odd.

In other news, I have had a cough and a fucked up left knee for about a week now, and having to walk everywhere in the cold isn't helping. Uni's fun, though. Work. I am now tired. :D ♥

So, I've kinda disappeared from LJ recently. I have a good reason, I suppose (that tiny thing called university ;D), but still - figured I'd drop by with something of an update.

Somehow, I am now a volunteer member of the Queen's College chapel choir. I get free meals, and £150 a year, for singing in a ridiculously good choir. (They're paying me.)

There's a very angry man outside who keeps yelling and swearing, and calling someone a "n****r". (One of the few words I'm leery about writing out.)

I have just returned from a 'cocktail party' (read: piss up) in the JCR, where they had a string quartet playing.

So. I'm here, my room's set up, and the parents have disappeared for a while.

So, I'm almost packed. I have about twelve pairs of shoes taking up far too much space, and too many clothes. Also, random copies of Henry IV.

Kinda nervous now. How did this happen so fast? ♥♠♣

So, the bank were supposed to send me a new bank card, chequebook, and PIN number. They were supposed to do this two weeks ago. I have the PIN number, but not the chequebook or card, and because the woman in the local branch on Saturday was useless and I had to go back today and now I might not get them before I go to uni.
